Gamification at LTU

Optimation develops a web-based gaming platform for education and learning together with LTU, Softronic AB, and PiiA. The goal is that students in the course of cellulose and paper engineering at LTU will use dynamic simulations of fiber and paper production as part of the education. The project will be implemented in the cloud-based simulation platform Everysim® together with Optimations Dymola Library Visa2.

Operation analysis LKAB

Together with LKAB in Kiruna, we continue to develop a simulator for operational analysis (OEE analysis). After this upgrade, all seven plants in Kiruna will be implemented in Optimations proprietary simulation platform for operational analysis. The tool is used by LKAB to evaluate the effects of process changes such as availability, maintenance, control strategy and production speed.
